I am a Certified Holistic Health Coach. I received my training from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, where I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts, including Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr. David Katz, Dr. Walter Willett, Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Alexandro Junger, Dr. John Douillard, Dr. Liz Lipski, Dr. Josh Axe, Donna Gates, and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.

My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health.  Drawing on my background, training, skills, and life experiences, I support my clients spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically through my coaching business, Highly Nourished. These suggestions are determined through the consideration of how their relationship with food, and other areas of their lives, impact their well-being.  The ultimate endeavor is to establish their own uniquely optimum Holistic Life path/plan.

Coaching Agreement

Let's set some expectations...

Over the years I have learned the importance of setting the proper expectations about what to expect during a coaching session. Every person I meet with is different, every individual has their own process and timing when it comes to changes. For you to get the most out of this experience and out of each session, there are some key understandings that need to be made ahead of time. Let's begin on the same page.

I expect you:

  • To be on time to our scheduled session. This is time invested into your self-health. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, find the email sent out confirming your scheduled session. This email has a link to reschedule. Please give me at least a 24 hour notice.  If you are more than 10 minutes late to our scheduled time, the session will be canceled.  There are no refunds. If the session is not rescheduled or if a scheduled session is missed more than once, you will be charged for the session. 
  • To drive each session. You will be doing most of the work. My job as your coach is to meet you where you are and guide you to where you want to be / how you want to feel based on your goals set early into the process. Each session is a focus on you and where you need coaching in the moment. I expect you to take time before each session to consider what area you need coaching around. 
  • To Take full responsibility for yourself and your actions. We will plant many seeds of thought and actions in our time together. These seeds will grow as they may, and you are 100% responsible for your actions and behaviors stemming from our time together.
  • To provide feedback. Everyone learns differently, your feedback guides this process.
  • To question. All of it. Be curious. You are different than everyone else in this world. Shift self-criticism into self-curiosity. It's where you will find answers for sustainable change.

You can expect me:

  • To share with you what I see and sense regarding your life situations with love and non-judgement. I am direct in the way I speak. I get straight to the point and this may feel uncomfortable for those not used to this manner of communication. I speak with the intention of offering a shift in perspective and clarity.
  • To offer suggestions and insights that may assist you with moving forward in achieving your goals. Sometimes this will include me asking you to take action steps to move forward. Expect me to challenge you at times and invite you to see a new perspective. 
  • To accept you fully and meet you where you are.
  • To refer you to another professional when we touch on issues that are better handled by a doctor or mental health provider. Everything in life has the ability to affect our health, we will talk about many, many topics. Nothing is off the table, but I am not a substitute for your therapist or doctor.  Please read the disclaimer above. When we identify something from the past that needs attention, I will ask you to bring it to the proper professional for more attention. My role is to keep you looking forward.
  • To constantly focus on your highest agenda for yourself.
  • To hold a space of sacred confidentiality. This space is free of judgement and is filled with love and optimism for the courage change takes.
  • To answer your emails in between our sessions. I want you to know how our conversation landed with you a few days later, or what new food you are cooking in your kitchen. I keep office hours from technology but will always respond to you in a timely manner.
  • To co-create new possibilities with you.
